You heard me cry and the sound drew you in.

My tears wash against your feet, but you persist.

“I’m not worth it; I’m not worth it,” I keep on saying.

“But you are. Of course, you are,” you insist.

You gather me in your arms, your hands on my back;

You sing to me your love, sing with all your heart.

“How can I not love you? I am your rock;

I will be here forever; I won’t let you fall apart.

“How can I not love you? I am your Creator;

I’d been with you since day one; and I could not leave—

Not when you sinned, not even when you cursed;

Not even when you lost control whenever you are peeved.

“How could you think I’ll ever stop? You are my daughter;

I gave up my life, so you could have a new one.

There is nothing that a father would want to see better

Than His child fully secured in His love and plan.”

It’s just you and I on a row. It seems like it passed by in the blink of an eye, but at the same time, it feels like it has been forever. 

It feels like we have been together forever and I want you to know that I still look at you like I looked at you the first time. 

I love that we don’t need a whole lot of stuff to make us happy, that what we have is deep and strong enough, that just having each other means everything. 

I’m thankful I have someone in my life like you who cares about me this much, who makes me feel loved and more, who reminds me I am something special, and most of all, someone who isn’t just there as a someone else, but as a best friend. 

Being with you makes me want to strive to be a better person, and hope you will always right there to help me be like that. I wish I could tell you how much I feel for you. I wanna tell you how grateful I am to have you. 

I’ve had my mistakes and flaws, yet you still stand by me. I’ve annoyed you, yet you still don’t leave me. 

You’re someone I look up to so much. You’re simply the best. When the time comes for us, I won’t let it slip away, I promise. 

I will always be here for you, and I will always try.

The one I love best

is a man of shrewd,

gentle, invinsible, and all

He is strong and handsome

his spirit never glum

His beauty demanded the world

He lead races

and strong enough for battles

In his heart, love overflows

His undaunted soul is as true to follow

What a magnificient young man he is

O, the one I love best

had taken me by surprise

The look in his eyes

is holding me captive

The Lord of all, loves him

and so do I

When you cease striving and worrying, and simply rest in God’s goodness and promises made sure by the finished work of His Son, He will command His blessings on you. You don’t have to worry about losing out to your colleagues or competitors who depend on manipulation and their machinations to get what they want. You will have more than enough when you do it God’s way because He will command His blessings upon you.
